The next big title from Ubisoft won’t run at 60+ FPS on Xbox Series X. The game has already disappointed fans with unusual non-gameplay footages at Xbox Show. Fans wanted to see more of the Assassin’s Creed game, but that did not happen.
Xbox Series X will run a lot of games on 60 and 120+ FPS, you will read that in our next article. Ubisoft confirmed the news to Eurogamer Portugal, in which they said “at least 30fps” on Xbox Series X on 4K Resolution
“Ubisoft has always been committed to exploring new technologies, taking advantage of the capabilities of new consoles to deliver the most immersive experience possible, which is why we are excited to be collaborating with Microsoft to bring Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to the Xbox Series X,” the Google-translated statement reads.
“Currently, we can guarantee that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at least 30 FPS. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit from faster loading times, allowing players to immerse themselves in history and the world without friction. Finally, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit of improved graphics made possible by the Xbox Series X, and we can’t wait to see the beautiful world we’re creating in stunning 4K resolution.
“We will have a lot more to show you about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the near future, so stay tuned for more information soon!”
In my opinion, Ubisoft should work on the game’s optimisation. Xbox Series X has excellent hardware, and games will run better than this. Gears 5 reportedly will run on 120 FPS at 4K, so I wonder why Assassin’s Creed cant do that. Lastly, this is only for Xbox Series X, we don’t know at what frames it’ll run on PS5.
