After so many rumors that seemed to true. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is finally happening, and it has already released on PS4. The game is not PS4 exclusive, it’ll also be released on PC and Xbox on 30th April.
Features & Details
Since it is a remaster, the game has many improved features from its base game. These include much smoother and better animations, remastered audio, and 4K Support. Well, it also includes no Russian if that counts. Basically, if anyone has played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will remember the mission at Moscow Airport, where dozens of civilians are killed. It is no more.
Furthermore, 4K Support is included with Consoles as well as PC. However, PC players will also get the benefit of uncapped frame rates and ultra-wide monitor support. This could be really fun, with good graphics, High Frame rates, and good refresh rate. I can only imagine for now though.
No Multiplayer, here’s why
Thirdly, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster won’t have a multiplayer mod along with it. Well, Its very understandable, because Activision is having great success with their current two Battle Royale titles, that include Warzone & Modern Warfare reboot. From their perspective, why would they add another multiplayer game, when they have tons of them doing well already.
Get a free Classic Ghost Bundle
Lastly, Activision will be giving free Classic Ghost Bundle to those who pre-purchase the game. The bundle can be used in both Cal of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. It includes several skins like UDT Ghost (Operator Skin), Task Force (Weapon Blueprint), “No Easy Days”(Player Card) and so much more. You can take a look at the list here.
For some reason, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster won’t be available for PS4 in Russia. The game will only be supported by PC And Xbox One. The news was officially confirmed by Call of Duty Russia.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remaster is set to release on April 30 on all other platforms. It is available on PS4 only at the moment. Well, releasing it on PS4 first is a good thing. It will allow others to have a good look at the game before buying it on their primary platform. The game will get more exposure, which is good for users as well as Activision.
