Call of Duty Warzone continues to grow, and today we hear that the Game has Reached over 60 million players. The game is benefiting from Coronavirus as people are staying home and numbers in the gaming industry have increased a lot.
Along Call of Duty Warzone, Modern Warfare is not doing bad either. According to Activision Modern Warfare has “sold through more units and has more players than any prior Call of Duty title at this point after its release.” That is according to the financial statement released by Activision today.”
Both games have been constantly supporting each other. Every month, we hear there is some sort of free weekend going in Modern Warfare through Warzone client. Call of Duty Warzone is currently free, however Modern Warfare is not.
“In the first quarter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare unit sell-through was the highest for the franchise outside of a launch quarter.”
“Also in the first quarter, Modern Warfare in-game net bookings more than doubled year-over-year versus Black Ops 4.”
We recently heard about Call of Duty Modern Warfare latest patch that increased the total game size to 190 GB. It did not end up well for Activision, as Console fans criticised the game developers for adding useless patches.
The 15 GB patch did not have notes, which was very astonishing. Usually, Consoles are 500 GB, and if you want to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare, you must be ready to sacrifice 2/5 of your storage.
More Call of Duty Warzone news include the latest confirmation from game developers that it’ll get Duo Mode. The game developers also explained why the trio mode was removed twice and added back. Their conclusion to several questions was that they are focusing on balancing the game.
