We recently heard about Cyberpunk 2077 not being a launch game on PS5 and Xbox Series X. This upset a lot of people, however looking from CD Projekt’s Red perspective, it was the best thing to do.

Fans have been tirelessly waiting for an update on Cyberpunk 2077 gameplays. In a tweet on twitter, Cyberpunk 2077 official account wrote: “Get Ready”. Along with that, it posted a picture with Night City Wire and June 11. This only means one thing, that Cyberpunk 2077 is getting gameplay reveal on June 11.

Night City looks like part of the game’s setting, where we will get to see the action. There are numerous locations disclosed that include Watson and Pacifica. We heard from Lead quest designer Pawel Sasko that most of the area is destroyed and there are droughts. Maybe Night City is a newer district?

“an area that is mostly sort of destroyed basically after all the droughts and everything that happened in the 50 years from 2020 to ’77,”

On April 9, we heard that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be delayed despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview, the game company’s president Adam Kicinski said that employees are working remotely, and no disruptions have happened ever since.

“Since mid-March we have been working from home, while ensuring continuity of all our of operations,” Kicinski said.

“Our goals haven’t changed; first and foremost, we intend to release Cyberpunk 2077 in September. We feel motivated and have the necessary tools at our disposal to meet this goal.

“We also believe that our longstanding strategy of avoiding debt and accumulating cash reserves makes us well prepared to meet any hardships which may be in store during these troubled times,” he added.

The company also announced that they are working on a New Witcher 4 Game. CD Projekt Red seems to have taken good initiatives before the breakdown in Poland. We must realize the situation in Poland looks to be more in control than rest of Europe and U.S. where majority game companies are based.
