Bethesda Softworks have just announced that Elder Scrolls Online and Doom Eternal are Coming to Series X and PlayStation 5. Well, if you own the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be granted a free upgrade for the newer consoles. This is pretty cool, and hey if you purchase the game in the coming weeks, you will still get to avail of this offer.

Bethesda also says that “our teams are working hard to ensure both titles will support backward compatibility when the new consoles launch.”

Further, Bethesda’s blog mentioned that they have more updates for us, and they will announce them in the coming weeks or months. The updates will tell us more about the game’s release dates, enhancements, features, and much more. Right now, they can only confirm that they will be offering free upgrades on new consoles for all Bethesda titles previously owned.

This seems like a pretty decent move from Bethesda. It’ll encourage fans to purchase more of their titles on the existing console without worrying about the upgrade. Other than that, Doom Eternal and Elder Scrolls Online are pretty great title. Playing them on that next-gen hardware will be surely fun.
