At MWC 2018, a lot of brands revealed their new and improved mobile devices. However, among the masses, a brand called Energizer had something totally different to offer.
Energizer Hardcase H590S
The main focus of the Energizer company has been ‘batteries’ throughout the years. And that’s exactly what their smartphone is all about. Of course, you can’t just boast a smartphone based on its battery size, and the Energizer Hardcase H590S from Avenir Telecom has a lot more to offer.
Availablity, Pricing, and release date
At the moment there isn’t any pricing information for the Energizer Hardcase H590S, but we do know that it’ll be released in second quarter of this year. Energizer has listed Amazon and Vodafone as their retailers, but there’s no word in which country the device will be sold.

Taking a look at the spec sheet, the phone does not fail to impress in terms of mediocre processing power, a decent camera, and storage expandability. Considering the fact that this phone has a very large battery at 5800mAh when compared to average smartphone’s battery capacity which is around 3,000mAh.
The phone comes with an IP68 dust, water, and shock resistance. It can apparently withstand falls of up to 1.2 meters and survive in 1.5 meters deep underwater for 30 minutes. The 5,800mAh battery should be able to last more than two days on a full charge. Also the fact that the MediaTek Helio P23 is not a power hungry SOC, it should give a bit advantage to the enormous battery for longer single charge runs.
Energizer Hardcase H590S is obviously a rugged phone, so don’t get your hopes up for a beautiful design. Despite being a rugged phone, Energizer still managed to tone down the case making it a little bit slim from their previous offerings. The back of the device features a honeycomb pattern so forget that this phone is going to slip off from your grip. And even if it falls, its designed to withstand all sorts of shocks and bumps.
Energizer has done a great job in introducing a battery-friendly phones, A lot of people, mostly construction worker’s main concern about their smartphone is the battery and sturdiness. So this is a perfect solution for the people who are looking for a phone that can offer the best of both worlds.
