Epic Games has announced that their store will now support more currencies like AUD, CAD, DKK, NOK, and SEK. These are related to Australia, Canada, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden in the right order.
The purpose of adding regional prices was because people often criticized that converting their currency to US Dollars was hard and often it ended up the game being expensive. Well, this could certainly solve the issue because now prices won’t fluctuate and your local currency won’t be dependent on the dollar anymore. Hence, the prices listed by Epic Games Store will be finalized prices.
Epic Games is currently giving away Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Crashlands for a limited time. All you have to do is add the game to your library and they are yours forever. I wrote about how fun both of these games are to mess with.
Lastly, Epic Games Store has also taken the initiative of requiring two-factor authentication. Hence, you might want to get through that process before grabbing the game for free.
Epic Games has also uploaded their future plans that include Storefront, Mod Support for Games, Self-Service Refunds, Offline sign-in, Add-on Discovery, and Achievements. You might want to look at their Trello board that has a lot of cool ideas.
