New Features are being added to Rust in its upcoming update. The upcoming addition is also bringing a new DLC, which will cost players around $10. This is the first DLC Rust has ever got before this most content was free. The DLC will feature musical instruments like drums, sousaphone, piano, and cowbell.

The musical instruments can be played with very convenient controls. Furthermore all instruments also support MIDI Device, this means that you can play most instruments in real-time. “You can now bind the standard note range (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) to any key. From there you can bind sharp and octave modifier keys which allow you to play over 20 notes on some instruments. If you’ve got a MIDI device sitting around you can plug it in and play most instruments in real-time. MIDI devices allow for a much more accurate and fast paced playing style. This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled in the experimental options section.”

The musical instruments are premium, however, if your friend crafts a guitar or finds a tube from rotting corpse, he can do most of the things DLC owners can. Furthermore, Rust will also get a separate instrument sound setting, this will avoid players getting annoyed by music all over the place.
