Henry Cavill popularly known as the lead actor to play the role of Superman in the DC Extended Universe has been cast as Geralt of Rivia in the adaptation of “The Witcher” by Netflix. Before the news was confirmed there were rumours that Henry Cavill would be the lead role in the adaptation which triggered fans into coming up with interesting fan art of what Henry Cavill may look like as the monster hunter :

Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy novels have inspired many other comic books and CD Projekt Red’s adaptation of “The Witcher” as a critically acclaimed video game as well. After the announcement and fan inspired speculations as to what Henry may look like as the Witcher, the loyal fanbase was eager to see Henry Cavill as Geralt and Netflix did not keep them waiting.

The reveal has left plenty of fans with mixed feelings regarding his young look or maybe how they would have hoped to see him in a rather more mature and aggressive look. Nonetheless, the reveal could be a hint towards the storyline and that the Netflix adaptation may be covering the monster hunter’s early years as a Witcher.
