Last week Google announced that Stadia Pro will be free for two months. The two months trial also included 9 games, that were free as well. Furthermore, players could also buy new games in trial, and they will be saved in their accounts. The promotional campaign in Stadia Pro increased the number of users across all devices.
Today, Google has announced that new game announcements will happen during Stadia Connect Broadcast. The Stadia Connect is set to start on April 28, 9 AM PT/5 pm BST. It’ll be streamed live on Stadia’s YouTube Channel.
According to various reports, Google Stadia hit one million total downloads in April alone. Similarly, the app saw 225,000 downloads after the two months free trial was announced.
Google Reported that its cloud gaming device will have more than 120 games in 2020. We have only heard about half, like the recent Lost Words: Beyond the Page.
You can still get the Stadia Pro trial, which features nine excellent titles. Stadia Pro features 4K/HDR Streaming, along with that 5.1 Surround Sound is also available. Lastly, Google has reduced the 4K Quality to 1080p.
Like Netflix, Last month Google wrote that they are “working toward a temporary feature that changes the default screen resolution from 4k to 1080p. The vast majority of people on a desktop or laptop won’t notice a significant drop in gameplay quality.”
The 9 games include
- Destiny 2: The Collection
- Metro Exodus
- Steamworld Dig 2
- Steamworld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech
- The Serious Sam Collection
- Stacks on STack
