Halo 3 which is returning to PC as a better game will have its early testing soon. In a blog post on Halo waypoint, developer 343 explains that the Halo Public Testing might start in the first quarter of June. The game will join the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which has currently returned to Steam. The return of the Halo series has exploded, and it is doing very well.
“Halo 3 is next up on the menu for coming to MCC on PC and we are already underway with early stages of flighting in Ring 1. Next week, we aim to get the completely paired down flight build into our partners hands, which is much sooner than usual. Our goal is to have the Halo 3 public flight kicked off in the first half of June. We can’t wait to get the community involved!”
Last time Halo 2 public testing happened, and it was quite successful. Developer 343 got a lot of feedback, and they implemented some changes. Moreover, Halo 3 is a remaster. It’ll have 4K UDH resolution with HDR.

The game will be well optimized for PC and players can expect high performance. Lastly, the game is available on Steam. You will need the base game which is Halo: The Master Chief Collection in order to play. Halo Chief Collection is available for $13 on Steam. Additionally, Halo 3 system requirements are not shared yet.
