Horizon Zero Dawn has just gotten its minimum and recommended system requirements for PC. I’ve compared them with the latest AAA titles, and I’ve to say they look quite reasonable. From the specs, it seems that the game will be very well optimized. The minimum system requirements demand second generation i5-2500k, or old gen AMD FX 6300. Along with that, it also demands Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290. I don’t think these cards are even available nowadays.

For the recommended, you will be needing a Nvidia GeForce 1060 or AMD RX 580 8GB. Moreover, a 4th generation Core i7-4770k will also set you for some good frames. Horizon Zero Dawn on PC requires the storage of 100 GB.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bits

The PC Edition will also feature ultra-wide resolution, unlocked framerates, graphical enhancements (improved reflections, dynamic foliage), graphical customization, unlocked framerate, control options, and a benchmarking tool.
