Alongside the Y7 Pro and Y9, Huawei Y6 Pro has been launched in Sri Lanka, what sets it apart is its Full-view ‘Dewdrop Display’ panel and its leather finish back cover. The youth in the country is being targeted by the Chinese giant with this new model. There are pre-loaded features in the smartphone including Huawei super sound and Low-light supporting face unlock which sets the edge! The OS run by Huawei Y6 Pro is EMUI 9.0 which is based on Android 9 Pie.
Though the phone was unveiled by Huawei in Sri Lanka last week, its price details were still not disclosed. As reported by DailyMirror.Ik, Huawei Y6 Pro will go on sale in the country with Singer Sri Lanka being its retailer. But nonetheless, affirmative information related to the launch of Y6 Pro in other markets is yet to be given out.
Features and Specifications
The phone’s unique selling proposition is its black panel which it boasts in its full glory with a textured leather finish design. The options provided for the panel color are Midnight black and Amber brown. Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) is hyped to be one of a kind as being the first one to flaunt a dewdrop display panel.
Apparently, the phone is a successor and an upgrade of the Y6 that was launched in April 2018. The phone encompasses of dual sim capability and runs Android 9 Pie OS on top of EMUI 9.0 while featuring a 6.09 inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) FullView dewdrop display panel having an aspect ratio of 19:9. The processor details of the phone are yet to be announced but what we know of the storage is that it withholds 32GB of onboard storage which is expandable via microSD card up to 512GB and it has a RAM of 3GB.
