Intel’s Senior VT, Jim Keller has now resigned. In an announcement, Intel wrote that Jim Keller will leave the office effectively on June 11, 2020. The man behind Intel CPU is leaving due to personal reasons. Moreover, Jim Keller has also agreed on staying with the office for a further six months.
During this time, he will assist the transition, and help the replacement. Intel has now also switched roles to lead their CPU game. Here are the changes scheduled, after Jim Keller Leaves.
“Intel has a vastly experienced team of technical leaders within its Technology, Systems Architecture and Client Group (TSCG) under the leadership of Dr. Venkata (Murthy) Renduchintala, group president of TSCG and chief engineering officer.”
Moreover, Sundari Mitra, who is the former CEO and Founder of NetSpeed will move from Intel’s COnfigurable Intellectual Property. Now, he will be assigned to create a new IP Engineering Group, that will focus on developing “best-in-class IP”.
Gene Scuteri will also move on from the semiconductor industry, to now head Xeon and Networking Engineering Group. Daaman Heijmandi, who has two decades of experience in leading teams will now return to Client Engineering Group Focused on System-on-chip (SoC) execution and designing next-generation clients.
Lastly, Navi Shahiari, who is very reputable inside Intel will now lead the Manufacturing and Product Engineering Group, which will focus on delivering comprehensive pre-production test suites and component debug capabilities.
