The iPhone 9 will be the first smartphone by Apple which will feature an LCD screen and slim bezels to complement the lineup which will comprise of the iPhone X successor as well as iPhone X Plus. The smartphone will feature an LCD panel which means that it will be cheaper while offering nearly the same things to the customer. The iPhone 9 could feature bezels that are thinner than the iPhone X which will increase their design score by a huge margin, as the latest information suggests.

Featuring a Full Active LCD screen which will be sourced from Japan Pixels the iPhone 9 will be featuring a Japan Pixel Eyes touch sensor, according to Macotakara. By using the Full Active LCD technology, Apple will be able to reduce the bezel size of the iPhone 9 by a considerable margin and will also be able to sell it for a cheaper price than the iPhone X.

As the report claims, Apple is experiencing production problems with the model as incorporating the Full Active LCD technology on the iPhone 9 has started to become a challenge for Apple. Mass production is said to have started this month, but the level of perfection that Apple wants from their products is reportedly yet to be seen in a considerable amount.

Hence, it is possible that the iPhone 9 will see a later launch, which could be in November. Apple might be forced to delay the release date of the smartphone because of such problems. Though the smartphone will be announced alongside two brand new models.

There are more details about the iPhone 9. The base model of the iPhone 9 should cost around $549, there is a possibility that it will have a dual SIM variant. Thanks to the MLCD+ technology, its screen should be brighter and more color accurate. According to a report, in order to attract the younger generation, this version will be sold in several different and vivid color models.
