This month Mafia 2: Definitive Edition showed up on Korean Board Rating which seemed to be a leak. Afterward, Mafia Games confirmed that a new project is coming. 2K Games also uploaded a teaser, that had clips from Mafia 2 and Mafia 3. According to them, a new Mafia Trilogy is coming. Well, new reports suggest that a Mafia: Definitive Edition is in works, its a full remake.
Today, Mafia: Definitive Edition showed up on Microsoft’s Store. The listing was immediately taken down not before a lot of people saved the screenshots. The screenshots suggest that Mafia: Definitive Edition is done. It might be released along with Mafia trilogy or before that. The game which featured Tommy Angelo looks absolutely gorgeous.
“Tommy Angelo is the protagonist of Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. Originally a cab driver, he is forced to join the Mafia due to a combination of unpleasant circumstances. He later became a soldato for the Salieri Crime Family.”
The Microsoft listing also said that the Mafia games will be “faithfully recreated in the Definitive Edition, with the expanded story and new features. So I might wonder if there will be new additions or some extra features. Non the less it also said, “This is the Mafia you remembered and much more”. Mafia: Definitive Edition is set to release on August 28. I wonder if the listing will come back or not. You can keep yourself updated on official announcements on www.mafiagame.com.

DLC”s with Mafia 2 will also be released. Mafia 2 Remaster pictures were also taken from Microsoft Store before being taken down. It looks beautiful!
