EA who last year said that they planning to remaster a very “exciting title, which is a fan favorite”. Players thought that Electronic Arts meant Mass Effect Trilogy, but new reports indicate that the game is going to be Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.

I won’t lie, this was my favorite Need for Speed Game along with 2005 Most Wanted. The Porsche GT Carrera and Mercedes CLK GTR in the game were masterpieces. The report has been compiled by Jeff Grubb of VentureBeat’s. According to him, EA has plans for Nintendo Switch Games. However, that is a different sector and this has nothing to do with their plans for PS4. Jeff says that his sources stated “familiar with the publisher’s release slate”, EA is going for Hot Pursuit Remaster.

“Then EA is going back to the racing-game remasters. As a followup to Burnout Paradise Remastered, the publisher is next going to update 2010’s Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. Like Burnout, that game will also come to Switch in addition to PC and other consoles.”

Jeff is very aware of the games industry. However, we must notice that so far this looks like a rumor. According to him, the remaster will join PC, Consoles, and Switch. He also mentioned 7 other games that are going to join Nintendo Switch this year.

  • Burnout Paradise
  • FIFA 21
  • Apex Legends
  • Lost in Random
  • Velan Studios game
  • Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
  • Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborvi
