While Rockstar faces its key leading people like Dan Houser leaving. Afterward, also facing a drop in their stock, Rockstar continues to look ahead and focus on their future plans.
Kotaku asked several people how much has the culture improved at Rockstar. They got their answers, but also came across some updates on the GTA 6.
Kotaku says that, Rockstar might release a base version of GTA 6 that won’t require hefty development and stress on Employees. Additionally, it’ll expand overtime and new content will be added.
According to Jason Schrier, who works at Kotaku and got insights, wrote: “The next GTA is still a ways away, so it’ll be a while before we see whether the company’s attempts to mitigate crunch are really successful, but in the last year Rockstar has made several quality-of-life improvements and replaced managers that staff described as toxic.”
Despite having trouble with Dan Houser, and facing a drop in their stocks. Rockstar has been pretty neat so far. Red Dead Redemption and GTA cross 150 million in sales on February 8. Grand Theft Auto V is their top-selling title, with more than 120 million copies sold. Similarly, Red Dead Redemption 2 alone has sold more than 30 million copies since its release in 2018.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is sort of done. And I wonder if its time to make a newer game for the GTA series? Its been almost 6 years since GTA 5 was released. Further, more of Rockstar games like Bully is also reported to be in development, so let us see what Rockstar says on their upcoming projects.
