Just when the handset was about to be announced the images of the Nokia X6 came through at quite an opportune time. We can be one of the first to gaze at the phone’s magnificent design. But keep in mind that this mobile is aimed towards the mid-range market.
It seems like HMD Global has really turned things around with Nokia. The Nokia X6 has some quite impressive specifications for a mid-range mobile. This just goes to show you that how far we have come when it comes to smartphones having a mid-range price tag with some impressive specifications.
Nokia X6 Could Be Sold In a 6GB RAM Variant with a Snapdragon 636
It is believed that Nokia X6 will be the first phone to be launched from the series. In just a few hours, we will know what its official name would be. A few images of the Nokia X6 have been leaked and based on these images the phone will have really slim roundish bezels.
The Nokia X6 will reportedly feature a big 5.8-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset will come with an IPS LCD panel instead of OLED technology which is more expensive. The optics will have a dual camera on the back, with the fingerprint sensor just below it.
There are likely to be two variants of the Nokia X6. The first one is expected to be featuring 4GB RAM, Mediatek Helio P60 SoC, and 64GB of internal memory. The second variant will be a more attractive mobile for the people who want good specifications at an affordable price.
That is because the second variant of the Nokia X6 will feature the Snapdragon 636 Soc with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The Nokia X6 is expected to launch with a price tag of $250 in China first. If it releases in other markets as well, specifically the U.S., then HMD Global will take the opportunity to take the share of lower-priced smartphone market piece by piece. HMD Global is also all set to revive the iconic Nokia’s N series, apart from the revival of Nokia’s X series.
