Popular CS:GO Star and ESports Player, Fernando “Fer” Alvarenga has been banned once again from Twitch. Fer was previously banned for racism on Twitch, and this time the reason is no different.
Previously, Fer was warned by his organization for the racial remarks. His statements stirred up a huge controversy in Brazil, and his reputation was being affected. The streamer tweeted that he had been banned without any warning or reason. Likewise, he also wrote that the ban time is 7 days and he looks forward to returning.
Many active viewers who regularly watch Fer wrote that he used the word “mongoloid” on last Sunday. This is a very racial word, and in any part of the community, this won’t be tolerated. On the other hand, Fer is now moving to YouTube while his ban is lifted up.
We have seen a lot of bans from Twitch lately. Very recently, the popular streamer DrDisrespect was banned over unknown reasons. His ban is permanent and according to Guy Beahm aka DrDisrespect, he has no idea why he is banned. The popular Twitch Streamer has a massive contract with Twitch, and it seems they will negotiate.
“Twitch has not notified me on the specific reason behind their decision… Firm handshakes to all for the support during this difficult time.”
