The most popular gaming reporter and journalist Jason Schreier report that Sony is planning the PS5 Conference next week. Jason who wrote a blog for Bloomberg reported that he got the knowledge from people associated with Sony.
Coming to the event. The PlayStation 5 event will reveal newer exclusives and games for the upcoming Console. Numerous reports claim that most of the PS4 Exclusives like Spiderman, Uncharted 4, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part 2 will join PS5. Moreover, this event will be virtual due to COVID-19.
The report by Jason also claims that there will be more events from Sony after this. The upcoming PS5 event is reportedly set to happen on June 3. Microsoft Team has revealed a lot about Xbox. They have already announced all the exclusives like Halo Infinite, and Scrom. Further, Xbox has also hosted a lot of events, which didn’t go well. The recent event which was supposed to feature Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay only revealed cinematic trailers.
The report also claims that June is the hub of gaming announcements. This year E3 was canceled, hence Sony and other publishers will make use of it. Sony at the start of the months claimed that the event will take place in “coming weeks and months”. This was an indication of June and those upcoming events which will happen.
Lastly, Jason also confirms that only a few people within Sony knew about the PS5 controller. However, in fear of getting leaked they made an early announcement that was not in their plans. To conclude, Sony has been playing the PS5 announcements really slow. They declined to appear in E3 and afterward, they have been just silent.
