PUBG Season 8 is now approaching and will be added to the Live Servers on July 22, and Test Serers on July 15. The update is bringing huge changes to the Sanhok Map. Along with that, it also brought us a new Loot Truck, Survivor Pass, and much more.

“The main feature of update 8.1 is of course Sanhok, which has been reworked from the ground up to look better, perform better, and offer more balanced gameplay. We wanted Sanhok to feel more like a forgotten, overgrown paradise while addressing some of the most glaring balance issues we’ve seen over the last couple of years.”

Many Popular Places have been completely reworked. The graphics are quite similar, but the overall topography and features have been changed. For example, there are new warehouses in Bootcamp, that look absolutely sick. Quarry has now gotten a bridge, that would enhance the movement in the area. I always hated walking through that place, because you couldn’t get up. Moreover, some places like Mongnai have been completely changed. There is a sort of farm, that has a runaway with plenty of motor gliders.

The very popular hot drop Docks has also been changed to Getaway now. It is now a party zone town, with dozens of new infrastructure added. Ruins looks like Notre Dame right now. The buildings have been scaled up, and they look huge. Other locations like Cave, River, MountainPai Nan, Khao Sahmmee, Kampong, and Bhan have also been completely reworked.

Of course, the new addition to the update is a newly added Loot Truck. “The Loot Truck is a brand new feature that gives players an additional, albeit risky, way to gear up. Trucks spawn in one of several garages around the island and drive along roads, enticing players to attack them. As these trucks take damage, they’ll drop some loot and continue on their way. Players persistent enough to destroy the truck will be rewarded with an even bigger cache of weapons and gear for you and your squad. “

Some traffic changes have been made to weather, Gameplay, Ranked Mode, and UI. You can read all the list of newly added features on the PUBG Blog.
