In January 2019,
Thermaltake is giving its Level 20 RGB gaming keyboard a Razer Green twist.
The Razer Green switch has a tactile bump with a distinctive click sound and optimized actuation and reset points. That means users can expect to hear and feel every key press. This compares directly with Cherry MX Blue switches offering similar feel and sound (tactile feedback with a click) without the bump.
Well, lowering the price and increasing the bump & clicks while keeping the aesthetics and performance all along is a good way to gain new potential customers. Razer’s Green Switches are no doubt one of the best switches out in the market. The Razer Green switch takes 50g of force to actuate with an actuation point of 1.9mm and a total travel distance of 4mm.
According to Razer, those switches make it the “best in class” when it comes to gaming and typing performance.
And another important thing is that Razer Green Switches touts 80 million keystrokes or even more while Cherry MX was only said to be durable at 50 million keystrokes. With all that kept in mind, we are sure to see a Thermaltake RGB Gaming Keyboard with Alexa voice control & Razer Green switches.
