If you don’t know well Epic Games store has gotten full access to Rocket League Developer. The popular co-op game is being moved out from its rival Steam to Epic Games Store. Rocket League will now move from Steam to Epic Games Store this summer.
The game is surprisingly being discontinued on Steam. However, Psyonix says that the game will no longer be available, but players who already own it will get the latest updates. The newer players can sadly no longer purchase it on Steam.
Apart from this, Psyonix also said that the Epic Games Store version will feature a free to play meta. A new system will be announced that will completely change the way Rocket League works.
“The core gameplay will remain the same, but we are refining the main menus to make exploring the game easier. Plus, we’re revamping and improving major features like Tournaments and Challenges and introducing cross-platform progression” reads the blog
Lastly Rocket League on Epic Games Store will also feature cross-platform play between any versions of the game, Steam users can also play with Epic Store users.
