Rockstar Games has just announced that they will be closing all their online servers for two hours. These servers are being closed, to honor George Floyd.

Today, at 2:00-4:00 p.m. ET, Rockstar will shut down its Red Dead Online and Grand Theft Auto Online Servers.

Rockstar Games also wrote “Following the memorial, we hope you will join us in further honoring the many victims of America’s racial injustices by supporting their families, black-owned businesses, those marching on the streets, and coalitions through the organizations listed here:

The death of George Floyd has caused massive protests across the U.S. A lot of shops, roads, and cities are filled with havoc. Yesterday, Infinity Ward announced that they will be delaying the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone, and COD: Mobile Upcoming Season’s. Similarly, CD Projekt Announced that Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire event is being postponed to 25th June. And lastly, the major PS5 Event which was very anticipated was also canceled. In the coming days, we can expect new dates for all of these cancelled events. So far things are not getting better, and we might end up seeing most of these events next month.
