Shenmue 3 got delayed again. However, this time it’s delayed only for three months. The long-awaited series has now been delayed more than twice over the past four years. Its initial expected launch was at the end of 2017, then it got delayed to the second half of 2018 to 2019, and today the Deep Silver tweeted that “Shenmue 3 will now release on 19th November 2019.”
Creator and director Tu Suzuki said that Shenmue 3 is almost done, but the games need more processing before being truly finished. The game was supposed to release in December 2017, but it was pushed back until the second half of 2018, and now November. But this time, the delay is not so big as compared to previous delays over the past four years.
In November 2019, we will also see the release of games like Death String, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and also it was a wise move to release the game in the middle of the holiday season.
