System requirements of Control were released a couple of weeks ago. The minimum system requirements were mid-range, and the recommended specs were very high. However, Remedy has now updated the system requirements of Control with official minimum and recommended hardware. Updated system requirements are given below.

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 / AMD FX 4350
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 / AMD Radeon R9 280X
  • RAM: 8GB
  • OS: Windows 7, 64bit
  • DirectX: DX11

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660/1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580
  • Ray-tracing GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
  • DirectX: DX12

The minimum graphic card requirement has now been lowered from GTX 1060 to GTX 760, which is a piece of good news for mid-range PC users. Moreover, the minimum processor requirement has also been lowered to Core i5-4690, which was Intel Core i5-7500 before. However, the reason behind this change is not clear yet, but reduced requirements is good news for everyone. Control is set to release on August 27, 2019.
