The Epic Games Store Freebies continue, as this week players can get Next up Hero and Tacoma completely free. Both games are free to grab until July 30 on the Store.

Tacoma seems to be a really good game. The game is set in a futuristic world and features first-person gameplay. Tacoma starts in a Misyetrious AI World, with full gameplay circled around sci-fic. The story starts with Lunar Transfer Station Crew, where our player works. However, one day a disaster happened, and afterward, the game stories start. The game is currently priced at $20 on Steam and features Very Positive Reviews. It was developed and published three years ago by Fullbright.

The second free game Next Up Hero was released in 2018 by Aspyr.

“Next Up Hero is a Gauntlet-style dungeon crawler starring hand-drawn heroes that hack, slash, shoot, drum, boomerang, jet, and explode their way through Ventures. Choose your Hero (and/or invite a friend to co-op) and start rolling dungeons, gearing out, and maxing your stats against the vile monsters known as the Ceaseless Dirge.”

The game is currently priced at $8.20 on Steam and features Mixed Reviews. The game isn’t terrible, but it is certainly not as good as Tacoma. Most players complain that its way too difficult and that the game isn’t entirely balanced. Sounds like fun to me though.
