The Rusty Lake Games are always something new to the market and always features same point clicking gameplay. Their newly developed game is called The White Door. If you tell anyone down the street I play The White Door, he will literally have no clue what that name suggests. However, I tried that gameplay and it is well-made, also there is a storyline behind the White Door!

The game storyline start with Robert, who has a very sad and difficult life. Robert Hill was going the right way in life, he was employed at Bird Seed Company, however, the game starts from Robert waking up in a Mental Health Facility. He is suffering from anxiety, depression and severe memory loss. Hence, meaning he had something very terrible happened to him.

As you wake up as Robert Hill, you can start the day the way you like. Firstly, you can take a look at your daily Routine, afterward, you can brush your teeth, clean your face, and work your way according to the Notepad, which has your routine written. Players will control Robert with their mouse, moving him around, searching and seeking things. Furthermore, players can also talk to the doctor, answer their questions with the help of many things available.

After you get through your morning schedule, the mental facility instruments are available where you can test your memory through small tests. Once, you play a little, you will get insights into the previous life, and Robert starts remembering things. Robert’s life was very exciting before like I said, and this makes the game more interesting. The insights of his previous life create a motivation, where you try your best to bring back Robert to his dreams.

Rusty Lake says that this game is something new, and its slightly change.
“It was a big challenge for us to change the gameplay and puzzle mechanics we used to know, and also trying to create the most narrative based game we made so far,” the developers said in the White Door announcement. “But after a year of hard work we can say that we are extremely proud we achieved this and that we can make something out of the ordinary, while remaining the Rusty Lake touch.”
