Popular publishers like Blizzard Activision, Bethesda, Capcom, 2K Games, and many others have withdrawn their titles from Nvidia GeForce Now. Fans were very disappointed after they bought their favorite game, and realized that it was not supported anymore.

Nvidia, on the other hand, had nothing to say, they used excuses like a misunderstanding to cover the blunders. According to many sources, Nvidia failed to make long term contracts with these publishers after Beta ended. Some sources also claim that older Cloud gaming Service Stadia has offered better contracts to publishers. However, they are seemingly false since these publishers are now without in contact with any Cloud gaming service.

Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney recently said that Epic Games and Fortnite will Support Nvidia GeForce Now. He Wrote “Epic is wholeheartedly supporting NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW service with Fortnite and with Epic Games Store titles that choose to participate (including exclusives), and we’ll be improving the integration over time,”

Now Ubisoft has also backed GeForce Now saying that they will fully the Cloud Gaming Service. In an interview with Kotaku, Chris Early, the company’s SVP For Partnership and Revenue said “Ubisoft fully supports NVIDIA’s GeForce Now with complete access to our PC games from the Ubisoft Store or any supported game stores. We believe it’s a leading edge service that gives current and new PC players a high end experience with more choice in how and where they play their favorite games.”

There have been a lot of misconceptions regarding the withdrawal of these publishers. Some say it is because of greed, others say Nvidia has been careless. We know for a fact, that many indie game developers complained that their games were published without even being asked.

Nvidia GeForce Now was expected to be the king in Cloud Gaming Service, but it is seemingly disappointing now. In my opinion, all should step in and join hands with Nvidia. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney says “Game companies who want to move the game industry towards a healthier state for everyone should be supporting this kind of service.
