Amazon’s Alexa :
Despite the fact that it was already available on many selected laptops and Windows PC already. The app was eventually released on Microsoft Store today. The new app will allow people to talk to the Assistant directly from the Windows 10 Computer. The Alexa app also supports a wake word functionality. If you don’t have a compatible computer, you can tap the button in the app to talk with Assistant or activate the assistant using a keyboard shortcut.
The Alexa for the computer will allow users to control the music, control smart home devices and much more. However, like other Alexa app, Video calls, Spotify, and Pandora aren’t supported for the Windows 10 app yet. Amazon hasn’t added specific controls for PC yet, but Amazon stated that “PC-specific capabilities will be added in early 2019 in addition to ongoing feature updates.”
Amazon is trying to get Alexa on further Platforms :
Alexa’s app for Windows 10 appears after just a month Microsoft and Amazon advertised Cortana and Alexa interaction. This interaction allows Cortana users to interact with Alexa, however, to make this work, it was a little hard. Alexa was also released for Xbox One recently, so I guess, Amazon is working to get everyone accesses to their Alexa assistant.
How to Install :
