Well, if you are unaware of the backstory, let me sum it up. Halo Infinite the most prestigious and hyped Xbox Series X game was revealed during the 23rd July Xbox Event. The game didn’t exactly look good, and its gameplay wasn’t appreciated by the Halo and Xbox Community. Likewise, Xbox got a lot of criticism over its graphics, and then Xbox released a statement saying it was an earlier build, and not the final version. This created a bitter spark, because how come the game was in early development while being so close to its actual release. Note, that Halo Infinite is a launch title with Xbox Series X.
Dan Chosich, Narrative Experience Director for Halo Infinite talked with fans on Twitter, saying that he understood their expectations and that their criticism is being heard.
“I’ve been in your shoes. I know what it’s like to have expectations built + feel let down. I want you to know your voice matters + is heard. You’re not falling on deaf ears. I always want to live up to the legacy that Bungie pioneered. I personally care a lot about honoring that.”
We’ll see how much Halo Infinite recovers until Xbox Series X is released. Gamers aren’t particularly happy with what happend. However, on the bright side, everyone seems to love the other Xbox Series X Exclusives.
